Old Site Updates (Pre-Blog)
Yeah. >_> (30/06/11)
So as you can tell, that didn't go over so well. If you followed the vlogs it basically explained how when we got to Truro, the recording studio had been f***ed around with and most of the equipment didn't work. It's a real shame. But I did get something out of it. I got the experience of being in a recording booth for the first time. I also got a drive to record more original music. I've been into Midi a lot since the album fell through. The last night in Truro, me and my friend Carrie pulled an all-nighter. And during that all-nighter, I made something. A song for everyone who I let down by promising an album that didn't happen. So I hope you can enjoy this instrumental. It's entirely midi and vst effects. No loops, no vocals, no samples. I basically put five hours non-stop into creating this. So... I hope you all accept my Apologies.

New Album in the works... (24/04/11)
I've alluded to it on my Youtube account with some vlogs by me and a friend of mine who're currently in Truro... been an interesting experience so far. Vlog #2 is about to go up with some results from our first day in the studio, A demo for a song called Apartheid that I literally haven't even finished writing yet. *laughs*
The song will only be featured in the video. It won't be made available in MP3 form... the reason is basically... why would you want an MP3 of an unfinished demo? Maybe I'll release it at the end of all this. In the meantime, be sure to check out the blogs and follow the creation of this album on Youtube or here. My username is Robchapman91. I'll be posting them all on here as well through Youtube.
Hope you enjoy.

I'm back. With tunes. (06/02/11)
So... after basically disappearing for a really long-arse time, I'm back with an album that doesn't suck. It could be considered a concept album (though I honestly regard most of my work as that as the majority of my albums don't have a clear focus on genre) though I'd prefer to think of it as an audio-storybook. The album does indeed tell a tale, and while it's a fairly common and simplistic one... isn't that where we find all the beauty in life? The simple things. There's not a whole lot of complexity to this album, really. Some guitar loops, some drum loops, on a few of them some bass, and of course some vocals. (Otherwise why would I be releasing it as mine?) So go ahead, take a look at the music section and check out my new album: "Black Sun: The Story of A life (And Others)". I hope that you'll be entertained. I'll also be posting some new covers/singles (There's 4 new ones to be exact ;]) and I'm working on a literal sh*t tonne of other music.
Catch y'all real soon. And I mean it this time.

Album Release! (20/10/10)
"Come To The Dark Side... We Have Angst." is officially released and posted for download as individual tracks :). I'll be adding lyrics pages for all of the songs soon, as well as in depth explanations of each album and such. I'll also finish the lyrics for "Through The Cracks" as soon as I can. I'm starting at a new job today so my schedule's going through a slight rearrangement >.<
WARNING: THIS ALBUM IS LADEN WITH COARSE LANGUAGE AND IS NOT AVAILABLE IN A CENSORED FORMAT.
IT DOES CONTAIN MATURE AND EXPLICIT LYRICS.

Surprise! (15/10/10)
I'm going to be putting out a new album in (hopefully) five days. If you're expecting similarities to 'Through The Cracks', however, you may be disappointed. This next album aims to be considerably heavier than the last, and also features two covers. Of course, this is going to be a free download upon release and if there are any delays I'll make it known. There's also a new song being posted in singles, and on the new page for this album. I wrote and recorded a track titled "Brother, My Brother" which was one of the first tracks intended for the album. However, after multiple style changes, I pulled it from the final selection, so I'll post it here. It's rather conceptual, as the original idea for the album was to BE a concept album, but I didn't want to take it in that direction. You can check that song out HERE, and you can take a look at the official album page / art \ track listing HERE.
See you in five days. :)

New Single (02/09/10)
By the looks of it I'll be releasing another album soon, but in addition to that I've got a new song to share with you.
The title of the song is "The Last Goodbye".
The song revolves around an incident that took place last night, in regards to something that has been happening over the course of several mentally agonizing months. This is the only song I am EVER going to write on the incident as it is something that I just want to put behind me and continue on.
You can get the lyrics, listen to, and download the song HERE.
That's all I have to say about that...

Album Release! (14/08/10)
As promised, Through The Cracks has been officially released! You can feel free to send me your opinions on the album via Contact Me. I will read all of them. If you're a friend of mine and you have me on FaceBook or MSN I'll be sure to reply to you there as well. I worked hard on this album and I sincerely hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed writing and recording it. Big thanks go out to Looperman.com and Playinmusic.com for their excellent loops, and to the developers of Mixcraft 5. Without Mixcraft I probably never would have started recording.
